An Old Metal Nightstand

Jan 2nd

An old metal nightstand is revived thanks to the painting and a slat floor. Materials needed, this old table was forgotten in a garage full of cobwebs. We liked its shape, its strength and the fact that it can be folded. We decided to give a second chance to paint and vinyl adhesive strips, from which are used to renew soil. The result: a small table retro style, super practical and very, very tough.

The metal nightstand: painted white, rusty and outdated needed a face lift. We removed some of the paint stripper, spatula and undercoat. Then, the surface is smoothed with a grinder and sanding disk for metal. We color one white enamel tile with universal blue dye and a few drops of yellow. And paint brush structure and patience.

To renew the metal nightstand use flooring adhesive strips that mimic wood. They cut with cutter and glued on the counter. Finally, to leave our table likes new and no crumb snack in through the cracks, fill the edge of the counterpoint with silicone colored wood, which is then smoothed with a wet finger in body wash. Our table is beautiful, and the weather can leave knowing that the rains will hold well.
